Focus Your Power!
Do you feel like you just keep spinning your wheels?
Do you have so many things you want to do that picking just one thing seems impossible, so instead you just get stuck and don't move forward at all?
Is this you…
- Your brain feels like a spiral, touching on one thing and then quickly moving to the next.
- You have so many ideas, picking just one feels like turning your back on the rest.
- Things others find complicated come easy to you, but you find seemingly "basic" things a challenge.
- You tend to have two modes of operation - "all in" or "meh."
- Sometimes you are hit with "divine inspiration," but it starts to fizzle out when it comes down to the nitty gritty "boring" parts, or your perfectionistic expectations.
- Your ideas have so much potential if only you could focus your energy - you just need a little push in the right direction to get yourself unstuck.
Lucky for you …
Where many people struggle with not having enough ideas, you suffer not from lack but from paralyzing abundance. When positively channeled this abundance can lead you to accomplish great things!
- Channeling your spiraling thoughts into positive flow.
- Finding your own balance between creative freedom and focused structure.
- Focusing your energy on the things that energize you over the things that are draining you.
- Narrowing your focus on one or two achievable goals.
- Coming up with a concrete plan of action to meet your next goals.
- Having the support of someone who "gets it" as you refine your plan.
It is quite possible!
"The benefits of working with you have been so great in such a short amount of time. STAR is becoming my mantra when I'm hitting high stress times. I'm so glad I started with you as I'm working on finishing up this big project. I'd originally thought, "I'll wait until afterward, now is not the 'perfect' time." Thankfully, I tossed that thought out because learning about self-care and improving my self-empathy through all the stress and chaos was the 'perfect' thing to do! We had a conversation about sleep - or lack thereof, because I wake up at 5 AM with my brain on overdrive. The plan we came up with is helping immensely! Waking up at 5 AM with my brain on fire is becoming more and more rare and that's made a huge difference!" ~ Alesia Zorn, Lettering Artist
Who AM I and How Do I Know This?
Hi, I’m Aurora Remember Holtzman
When I went part time as a school psychologist to pursue my coaching and Embracing Intensity Podcast, I realized that all of the careful systems I had in place to stay on track at work had to be started from scratch. This time though, the tasks I wanted to accomplish were so vast, I was trying to do way too much at the same time. I had to step back and refocus my energy where it would be most effective.
I had been spending an entire day rerecording my group lessons for negligible quality improvement when it hit me that I was doing exactly what I was teaching against - focusing my energy on unnecessary things that drained me. I decided instead to focus my energy instead on offering free coaching to my League of Excitable Women Facebook Group. This was not only more energizing, but it also taught me a few things - the traditional "free session" of 30-60 minutes was barely enough to touch on the problem, but not nearly enough to work toward a solution, and while a lot can be done in a 2 hour call, follow-up is crucial to support accountability on your goals.
That’s why I created ...
Focus Your Power!
… an intensive 1:1 strategy call to help you get clear on where to focus your energy, come up with a concrete plan of action and refine your plan for success.
The Focus Your Power Process

Create a plan of action toward meeting your goal.
Follow-up to refine your plan and improve your follow-through.
"It's awesome to see Aurora's coaching programs for highly excitable people, because there's nothing else out there (that I know of) dedicated to helping women who are sensitive but at the same time energized by driving themselves intensely. Aurora understands how to support dynamic and spirited women - because she is one herself. If you want a smart and passionate coach who knows what it's like to find a way through the relentless "foot to the floor then slam on the brakes" cycle, Aurora is a great choice!" Aurora "gets" me without even saying anything. That is so comforting right there. She explains how intensity is related to any problem I bring her. I find it incredibly validating and very much a relief. She feels very down to earth and real with me. Not to mention how resourceful she is!! I highly recommend Aurora for coaching around intensity and sensitivity. I just had a session with her yesterday that is still bringing me smiles because she blew my negative thinking out of the water with a little share about her own life. I'm very grateful. She helped me put myself out there, which kicked off my entire coaching program." ~ Wendy Holthaus, Women's Resiliency Coaching
